Relaxed informal wedding photography Malvern

Malvern is an amazing place with the Malvern hills and surrounding countryside. The perfect place for your wedding photography or an engagement photography session. I have lived in the area for the past forty years and know where to find the best photographs. If you would like an engagement photography session, or an hour on the hills on your wedding day I can help.

Richard Barley Photography

I produce a selection of unique images using small unobtrusive camera equipment and a very quiet style. I have always tried to follow a simple rule when attending weddings. I always act like the wedding photographer who came to our wedding. He came and captured natural images of us both enjoying the day and made us feel at ease. The photography coverage is very simple and you will not have to worry about anything.

Q. Where is the best place for wedding photographs on the Malvern Hills?

A.I use the British Camp car park and walk towards the lower hills. You do not have to walk far but I would suggest bringing walking boots to get up there. If you do not want to venture far then the British Camp car park has access to some interesting back drops for photographs. It depends on how adventurous you feel on the day.

Q. When is the best time of year to come ?

A. Late spring, summer or early autumn are the best times of the year to come with your wedding dress. If you are going to organise a post wedding photography session the day after your wedding then don’t worry about the weather.

Q. Do you offer engagement photography ?

A. An engagement photography sessions or “pre-wedding shoot” will really help you to enjoy being photographed. I always advise couples to come and have a practice session a few months before the wedding. If you are nervous about standing in front of a camera this is the ideal time to over come your fears. I find that most couples are so confident by the end of the session they want to keep going. Please see the wedding photography price list.

Dear Richard, Once again “Thank you” ! Our wedding album is just wonderful; we are so so pleased with it. Neither Chris nor I enjoy having our photo taken and before the wedding we were both worried about how our pictures would turn out. You made us feel so at ease and on the day everything was just easy. We had a great day and are thrilled we have such lovely photos to remember it by. All that have seen our pictures have complimented them – we can’t recommend you highly enough.

To Richard, Thank you for our wonderful photographs. We returned home on Friday, after a few days away to find them waiting for us. We spent Friday night looking through them and think they are perfect. You really captured our wedding day. We are really pleased and will recommend you with out a moments hesitation, Thank you once again with best wishes.
